Body Gospel is a Christian workout by trainer Donna Richardson Joyner. You may remember Donna from her “Buns of Steel” days.  While Buns of Steel was an amazing workout and created hard buns across the globe, Donna wanted to put her 20 plus years of experience in the fitness business to a different use. She wanted to make a difference not just for people who were already into fitness, but for those in her own community. She started by creating Sweating in the Spirit, the #1 inspirational fitness program in the USA, and followed up with her latest Body Gospel.

Body Gospel definitely is a mind, body, spirit connector. This unique program’s workouts are set to gospel music and includes a nutritional plan that will help you meet your fitness goals. The program integrates fitness and nutrition with a faith based workout.

Donn is a blessing to the Body of Christ. I thank her for sharing her talents with those of us who love gospel music and want to glorify God in our body too. I have recommended the program to everyone I know.

This is the first exercise program I have participated in where I am filled with anticipation. The program is uplifting, easy to follow and FUN. And I actually see results. It is exactly what I need.

This makes faith real and fitness fun

I am not one to stick with a workout program because I get bored or frustrated before I start seeing results but with Body Gospel the focus was on God – and by not constantly harping on myself I did see improvement! I love the emphasis on glorifying God through taking care of the body He gave me and feel more empowered physically and spiritually. I also love the body bands – so effective! With Body Gospel I was able to get into literally the best shape of my life and, now that I’m expecting my first child, I feel I have the tools for a fit, healthy pregnancy.

Pros: the body bands are easy to use and effective, the music is energizing and positive, donna is a great instructor – easy to understand, there are normal people in the dvds

I love this product. I have lost 8lbs and 9 inches so far. It’s great for the faith filled people who want to workout as well as listen to great gospel music. I even like the meal plan, and I not only make meals for me, I make the meals for my whole family and they love them. I plan on starting a workout program at church and I’m going to use this workout plan. Thank you Donna.

Pros: Very effective, Met expectations, great for older people

While we’re on the subject of Body Gospel | Christian Workout, Most people in the U.S. eat too much protein. Try to move away from protein being the center of your meal. Focus on equal servings of protein, whole grains, and vegetables.
